Fierce, Fabulous & Fascinating is our signature transformational portrait campaign at Willow Creek Studio & Boutique.
It is a luxury, fully guided portrait experience designed to celebrate women — their strength, beauty, leadership, resilience, and legacy.
This is not the everyday photo experience.
It is a curated, editorial-style experience complete with professional hair & makeup, wardrobe styling, and a cinematic image reveal.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes — you are welcome to bring one friend to your session for support and celebration.
If you and your friend would like to be photographed together, we can absolutely discuss creating a Girlfriend Session experience.
We also offer full group portrait experiences for women who want to celebrate together — sisters, best friends, business partners, or leadership teams.
Just let us know during your consultation and we will design something beautiful.
How much does it cost?
To reserve your place in the campaign, there is a nonrefundable $600 session retainer.
This retainer secures your design consultation, professional hair & makeup artistry, studio time, and your cinematic reveal appointment.
Your $600 is fully applied toward the collection you choose.
Most women invest $3,000.
Do I have to choose my collection before the session?
No.
You select your portraits during your cinematic reveal appointment after seeing your images.
You only purchase what you love.
Flexible payment plans are available.
What if I’m nervous or don’t know how to pose?
That is completely normal.
Lorraine guides every detail — from posture to expression to movement. You do not need experience in front of a camera.
You simply need to show up.

Lorraine Hjalte is an award-winning former photojournalist with over 25 years of experience capturing powerful human stories. After a celebrated career documenting real lives and defining moments for the Calgary Herald, she founded Willow Creek Studio & Boutique in Nanton, Alberta — a space devoted entirely to helping women see themselves differently.
Her work blends editorial sophistication with emotional depth. She understands light, composition, and movement — but more importantly, she understands people.
Lorraine has photographed leaders, entrepreneurs, advocates, survivors, mothers, and changemakers. Through the Fierce, Fabulous & Fascinating campaign, she turns her lens toward women who are ready to step into their visibility and preserve their legacy with intention.
